How to Use the Super Soil Substrate:

1. Start with a clean aquarium and use a Bio Base layer as the first layer.
2. Add the Super Soil Substrate in the appropriate amount, ensuring your aquatic plant roots have access to the right nutrients. 1 bag is perfect for a 1 sq ft cube tank! 
3. Layer thin strips of filter floss over the top to prevent layer mixing.
4. Top off the layers with a thick Sand Cap to contain nutrients and prevent algae issues.
5. Insert plants carefully into the substrate, 
6. After planting, allow the tank to settle for a day with lights on for 6-8 hours to encourage photosynthesis.
7. Add a water conditioner to remove harmful chemicals before introducing fish.
